Data Crunch: Finding Open Data

Data Crunch: Finding Open Data In-Person

Open data is data that can be freely used, re-used and redistributed by anyone and is subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and sharealike. Open data is in a format that is easy to modify and work with and open for anyone to use with no cost associated. This promotes transparency and accountability from a governmental standpoint.

In celebration of Open Access Week, this workshop in the Data Crunch series hosted by Swem Library and McLeod Business Library will introduce you to Open Data and how you can locate Open Datasets for your research

Snacks will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. Please register by October 23rd.
