Check out the new Makerspace in Swem! It's conveniently located on the main floor of Swem next to the Learning Center in room #139.

Getting Started

Check out this guide for instructions on using the printers and preparing files for printing. The Makerspace has only one computer available, so you will need to download and prepare your files for printing before you come to the library. Links to the required software are provided in the description of the printers to the right.

The Makerspace is open the same time as Swem, so be sure to check Swem's hours when planning your project. Some complex 3D objects can take multiple hours to print, so plan your reservation and print accordingly.

What's Available

The Makerspace has three 3D printers available for use. The library requires 24 hour advance notice for reserving a printer; if you don't see any time slots available below, please check the next day for more availability.
